Amora Naturals Ingredients
Properties of key ingredients used in Amora Naturals products
Aloe vera gel
Aloe vera gel is extracted from the inner chamber of the aloe vera leaf. With water as its major component, aloe vera is soothing and moisturising to dry skin.
Aloe vera gels contain over 75 active ingredients including steroid, enzymes and amino acids, which work synergistically to heal burns and inflammation as well as stimulate the growth of new cells and tissue.
Moroccan Argan oil
Argan oil is exceptionally rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It helps neutralise damage to the skin caused by free radical oxygen molecules.
Argan oil conditions and reduces wrinkles by restoring the skin’s lustre.
Shea butter is extracted from the nut of the Karite tree which grows in Central and West Africa. It has a high fatty acid content which moisturises and helps the skin maintain its elasticity.
As a natural anti-oxidising agent, Shea butter protects the skin from environmental toxins and free radicals. It is an excellent skin nourishing, softening, tissue re-oxygenating oil. Research has found that shea butter has linoleic acid, a healing agent for treating dry skin, sunburns, irritation and chapping skin.
Jojoba oil is rich in proteins and minerals and is very similar to natural skin oils (sebum). Jojoba oil attracts and holds moisture on the skin while balancing oil production in both dry and oily skin. It is suitable for all skin types.
Vitamin E is an anti-oxidant which prevents damage to skin cells and membranes by free radical oxygen. It’s also known to speed up the skin healing process and eliminate scarring. Vitamin E is used in skincare products for its deep skin moisturising and natural preservative properties.
Sweet Almond oil
Sweet almond oil is rich in proteins and also contains vitamins A, B and E. It’s used for its skin softening, soothing and moisturising properties.
